Day 1 Marrakech → Ouarzazate → Zagora
Start your day with an early morning departure from Marrakech, around 7:00 AM, as you begin your scenic drive through the breathtaking Tizi n'Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains. Stop for photo opportunities and refreshments along the way, taking in the stunning mountain views. By midday, you will arrive in Ouarzazate, the "Gateway to the Sahara," where you can visit the UNESCO World Heritage site, Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, known for its ancient architecture and cinematic significance. If time allows, explore the Taourirt Kasbah and the renowned Atlas Film Studios, often referred to as the "Hollywood of Morocco."
In the afternoon, continue your journey towards Zagora, passing through the lush Draa Valley, famous for its palm groves and ancient kasbahs. Stop at Agdz and visit the historical Kasbah Tamnougalt, a true gem of Moroccan architecture. Arrive in Zagora by evening, where you can explore the town, known for its proximity to the desert, and visit the famous "52 days to Timbuktu" sign.

Day 2 Zagora → Tamegroute → Erg Lihoudi
On the morning of Day 2, drive towards the village of Tamegroute, renowned for its ancient pottery workshops and the Tamegroute Library, which houses rare manuscripts. Take time to explore the underground kasbah and witness local artisans at work in the pottery workshops. Day 4 Zagora → Ouarzazate
In the morning, start your journey back towards Ouarzazate, driving through the scenic Draa Valley once again. Upon arrival in Ouarzazate, spend the afternoon exploring more of the town, relaxing after your desert adventures, or visiting additional sites such as the Kasbah Taourirt.
Overnight: Ouarzazate
Day 5 Ouarzazate → Marrakech
On the final day of your journey, head back towards Marrakech, retracing your route through the Tizi n'Tichka Pass. Along the way, stop at scenic spots to take in the mountain vistas. Arrive back in Marrakech by the afternoon, concluding your unforgettable Moroccan adventure.
